The 5SA Summer Challenge will be a chance for you to build relationships with your colleagues and clients, to compete against friends from other companies as well as raising funds for a network of great charities working to create opportunities for young people across the UK and further afield. These include providing sports sessions, tournaments volunteering and work experience and also training qualifications such as the VRQ in Using Sport to Tackle Youth Crime, OCN in Youth Work, and Coaching Qualification which are offered free of charge to interested young people. All profits received from this event will go towards making sure we continue to provide these opportunities to those who really need them.
The Challenge will be run by young people and volunteers who have come through the various programmes run by the partnership. This will give them valuable work experience in a range of sport for development related fields including coaching, refereeing and event management.
